Last week I went to the Markopoulo Friday Market. Markopoulo is a little town close to Athens. I made a video and thought that I should share!

A few weeks ago, my family went to Hot Springs, Arkansas. It was so fun! First, we toured the Fordyce Bathhouse museum. It was so cool to see what it would've looked like in the early to mid 1900's! I think each of the bathhouses are so unique and pretty. Then, we just walked around looking at all the shops. After that, we went to a magic show - Maxwell Blade! I learned a don't - If you're like me, and get grossed out/don't particularly like creepy stuff, I recommend not going to the museum! (at the front and it costs $5 to get in) But if you're like my dad and don't mind that stuff, well he says it was very interesting. But don't miss the magic show located in the same building - it was great, and Mr. Blade was very entertaining and interacted with the audience a lot! The next day, we went to the Garvan Woodland Gardens. https://www.garvangardens.org/ Wow! There were so many different types of plants, and even fish! I got to feed the little fishies! Also, don't miss the Fairy Village and try to find the peacock. While you're there, eat lunch at the Chipmunk Cafe! Their menu is extensive, and everyone enjoyed what he selected. Later on this week is the Markopoulo Market! If you're like me, and you love animals, and you have some down-time in Athens, I recommend going to the Athens Zoo. I love how the monkeys play and play, how the lions relax, and I really love the dolphin show! Now I want to keep one in our pool! Here is a link to their website: http://www.atticapark.com/home Next week's post is on Hot Springs, AR! |
